I finally watched the England versus N. Ireland game tonight (it was previously taped from the match on Black Saturday). Joe Cole is really shining now! Lampard still plays his top form, although, I did notice a hiccup or two with him. I didn't realize Michael Owen was so dreamy! *sigh* 😉 The game wasn't “as exciting” since I already knew the outcome (up to the minute that they're going to score). I can't wait to watch more England games, though (and I hope without a tape delay >.<)
In other news, we had a fantastic start tonight with Nike's latest series: Cinco de Mile. We trialed about 78 shoes — not too shabby. There were a couple of new faces, too — younger runners and parents who brought their kids to the run. Unfortunately, people didn't really understand that we serve “snacks” in the end, so all the food was spent! Some people on the 5 mile run weren't able to enjoy any quesadillas or salad, or Spanish rice… Oh well, I suppose they have to run faster! Hehehe. Actually, not enough food was served, so perhaps some will ease up on the portions (I didn't eat as I was too busy working!) Overall, it was a great night.
