Prayers for Dad (and so on)

My dad's ill right now (a rarity for someone who's somewhat of a exercise-nut) and my mum's been taking care of him for the past few days; he's had high fever and other pains that are too personal to mention. If you believe in the power of prayer (I heartily do!), please mention him this week. Thoughts are most welcomed, too! Mum's going to try to get him to the MD to get a biopsy done but he's had to reschedule cos he can't get outta the house. 🙁 Anyway, yeah — please pray for him.

Might seem out-of-place (or inappropriate) considering what I posted above but I drained my first blister yesterday. Eeewwww. Okie TMI right? Not my first blister ever but the first blister I ever drained, rather. Okie, skip to next paragraph if you're squeamish like me… the blister had a diameter that was around an inch and according to this article I read (on WebMD, I think), I should drain it. It literally took an hour to psych myself to do it! LOL. After I drained it (don't worry the thing that drained was clear), I felt waaay much better. ^_^

So yeah, I had to finally take care of the blister because it bothered a lot when I walked around. That and I have to get better before Tuesday when I start running again (5 miles only). March and April are going to be the months I'm really NOT going to miss any of my runs; okie maybe miss one or two mid-week runs, but I have to do at least 2 runs a week (including the long run training). It's crunch time and I can't slack on the training anymore! >_<
