Last year, I participated in my very first “Earth Hour“. Basically, on a particular day in March (this year, it’s on the 27th), on a particular hour (starts at 8:30PM your time), you switch off ALL the lights in your home (or business)… for an hour. Simple enough, yeah?
I wasn’t in complete darkness last year, though. I was surfing the web on my mobile >_< LOL. I did turn off my computer and unplugged my laptops and of course, the lights were turned off. But yeah, for an hour in the dark, it was kinda weird… No telly, no computer, and no FaceBook for an hour — I remember it felt like I was in the Dark Ages. I even switched off the lights in my fish tank. I don’t think my fishies appreciated that, though. 😉

If you haven’t guessed, Earth Hour is a movement that began 3 years ago to raise environmental awareness and on climate change. ^_^
