Long Run Training: 10 miles

It’s the final countdown! LOL.

This run was waaay better than my mid-week run on Thursday. Eventhough I was feeling my left calf within the first 3 miles of the run and my mind was playing the whole “well you don’t want to injure yourself so just turn around now” conversation with me, but I beat it and kept running.

Felt strong after the whole calf thingy and I thought I maintained my pace throughout (moreso than my previous long runs anyway). I think if I remain positive, I should be able to get through the marathon next weekend (without being carted to the finish line! haha!)

p.s. had a hearty brunch afterwards: Onion soup, Apple juice, Green tea, half-a-BLT with fries and a side of fruit… Mmmmm. ^_^
