Cross-Training (45 minutes)

My thighs were still sore as of yesterday so I thought that I’d do a swim rather than the prescribed 4 or 5-mile run. The 45-minute swim last night wasn’t too bad, though I can’t exactly remember the distance I covered (at least 200 metres — for sure lol! I should really make a note of it). It was good that I lasted that long, though, cos it was soooo windy last night that I nearly wanted to give up and get out of the water as soon as I jumped in. As soon as I began moving in the water, I didn’t feel that cold but man… I wish I had one of those Snuggies (or WTF blankies*) as I got out of the water cos it was FAARRRREEEEEZZZZZEEEEENG.

Going out for a swim again tonight and will probably try to go run 5 miles on Thursday as I have a 12-miler due this Saturday and then… Dun dun duuuuuuuun… ze Hard Corps Marathon. >_<
