Cross-Train (45 minutes)

Notes:
My sis (the crazy runner) lent me her ZXU compression socks to take it out on a run but I ended up walking about 3 miles. My right calf was ok but my left calf was still feeling sore/tight/weird. This is after I stretched the calves for about 20 minutes prior to my walk. Although 2 miles into the walk, I felt the need to break out running, I didn’t want to stress the calf further so I remained walking. I did some knee lifts, though and ‘butt kicks?’ lol I don’t really know what they’re called but it’s a pronounced walk where the heel of yer shoe hits yer arse. 🙂

Anyway, I still brought my Nike+ and Garmin along — it’s still mileage, afterall! 😉 I was going to go for some lap swimming today but ended up going to the farmer’s market (at the same park) afterwards and got myself a NY-style hotdog and roasted corn. >_<
