Cardio + Resistance Training

Yep, I totally agree with the quote above; fear IS a great motivator. I have missed an entire month's worth of marathon training! I couldn't sleep last night cos it was beginning to dawn on me that I'm soooo going to die at the upcoming San Diego marathon in June. Ahhh….So I resolved myself and finally got up early enough today to do some light cardio (i.e., 10 minutes on the elliptical) and some resistance training (i.e., one set of weights).

Tomorrow, I'm hoping to run the 7 miles on my training timetable and this weekend, the 10 mile run. I just have to supplement the non-run days with more resistance training just to get myself back-on-track…. I hope!
