RIP… etc.

Haven't really posted lately. Been busy and stuff. Anyway, the updates. Before I go into the RIP(s), my ankle is still not fully healed. When I was kneeling and then resting over my feet the other day (i.e., kneel then go into a seated position, both feet under your butt), I can still feel the strain of my previously-seriously-sprained ankle. I'm seriously worried that that happened cos it hasn't been this bad before. I still haven't ran at all which means I'm going to have to do some major run-cramming this weekend or summat.

On September 8th, I found out that my beloved Great Aunt Aurora passed away. She was the youngest out of the three daughters (I think!) My grandmother was the 2nd daughter in their family. It was rather sad to find out cos I haven't really spoken with her in at least a year. I wanted to ring her last Easter but somehow "didn't have the time." Anyway, she was the one that taught my siblings and I how to pray the rosary, back when my parents would "drop us off" at my grandparents' place for the summer holidays. Aunt Aurora would be there, waking us each morning to attend mass and then pray the rosary in the afternoon. RIP.

I know "real-life" takes precedence over everything but I want to "break" this post with two rather sad news — Chelsea FC (my football club) lost to Villa more than a fortnight ago and then recently drew to Blackburn and some club from Norway called Rosenborg. Chelsea losing is nothing new but with the recent success, you're at a loss again with, er, a loss… WTH. >_<

So as if things couldn't get worse, I found out this morning (or rather, Tuesday morning) upon arriving at work that my mum's dad (my grandfather) had also passed away. We'd call him "Papa" cos he didn't want to be called grandfather. I fondly remember being taught how to drive (a stick-shift!) back when I was 12. RIP, Papa. You're finally with Mama now. 🙁

Two deaths, two draws, one loss and right now, a really bad tummy ache. Ugh.
