Good Friday yesterday and no run today.

I don't know how to fast. Yesterday was Good Friday so fasting and abstinence were called for. Even with the morning snack, I was practically hypoglycemic (well, maybe not but I did have a headache) by the afternoon. When I finally ate my "one" meal later that day, I felt like I cheated the whole act of fasting cos I ate quite a bit and had some chocolate cookies immediately after as a snack. >_<

Anyway, the Good Friday service last night was quite touching and inspirational. There was one small incident, however, with my friend and former-Choir buddy, Emily. Please pray for her. She passed out at church (she's only 18) and they had to call the paramedics. Her dad, our Parish's Deacon and the presider that evening, was "relieved" by our Parish priest, Fr. Ray, so that he can tend to his daughter. Fr. Ray explained this to us at the end of the liturgy in case people wondered how Deacon Scott transfigured into Fr. Ray. LOL! omigosh sorry, I'm such a bad person; it's just that, I didn't see that they switched places and then I wondered how the hech did Deacon Scott turn into Fr. Ray. >_< If you believe in the power of prayer, please say one for my friend.

Back to the running bit — yah, so since I didn't know how to fast and was practically physically starved, I decided to move my run to early tomorrow morning. It should be a nice Easter morning run anyway. I think I can have my pasta dinner (e.g., carbo-load). Here's to 15 miles! +_+
