Baggies bagged @ The Hawthorns

Blues 2, Baggies 1.

The game started off with a moment of respectful silence. The commentator noted it was quite chilly, but it was a stunning silence in memory of Osgood. “Osgood is good” indeed.

It seemed as if the Blues were somewhat less intense this match; were they enjoying the weather and loverly West Brom pitch? Iono — they seemed less spirited during the first half of the match. Lamps wasn't there, so that could have been it, or they could really have just been enjoying being out in the afternoon sun.

It was only during the 2nd half that things picked up, Drogba and Cole contributing to the scoreline, while Kanu giving his Baggies an inch of hope. It was a silly tackle by Robben (and mind you, it was more of an ignorant tackle, than a malicious or contemptuous one) that saw him off the pitch. Anyway, seems like Joey's been shining lately. I hope “The Special One” gives him the full 90 this coming Champions League game. C'mon Jos
