As usual, I am behind with my writing. I have exactly 7 days and 15 hours left until my deadline. I “joined” this word challenge group, too — write at least 12,000 words by Thanksgiving morning. O.o
Tragic news to report, Ashley the fish (aka Mary-Kate's sis) died this morning. She has now rejoined her twin in fishy heaven. I did get two new fishies a week or two ago and I finally have a name for both of them. Angelina (as in Angelina Jolie — the fish had really big lips –lol!) and Silas (as in the albino devotee (erroneously called a “monk”) of Opus Dei who practices severe corporal mortification in Dan Brown's The Da Vinci code.) Silas isn't a pure albino fishy, but does have a few albino swatches to him 😉 I think both will fit very well with their big bro, Hannibal Lecter. 😛
