LOL I thought I was imagining what I was reading when I opened the latest email from Runner’s World, but nope. The link was about how to tie your shoe properly! Man… and all this time I was doing it incorrectly! Although I have no use for this article anymore (I use Yankz! hehehehe), it’s still useful to learn the proper way to tie your shoelaces. Poor bunny ears method.

How to tie your shoelace
Spinach Tuna Wrap
The season of Lent was the inspiration for this wrap. I’m sure there are better recipes out there (and I haven’t Google’d them yet), but this one’s a quick way to have something substantial and relatively healthy.
Ingredients:
- Can of chunk tuna
- Mission Wraps flour tortilla (Garden Spinach Herb, version)
- Baby spinach (I like the pre-washed kind)
- Ken’s Steak House Creamy Caesar dressing*
Directions:
There’s really nothing to it — warm your flour tortilla by sandwiching it between a dry paper towel (under) and a damp one (over).
Pop it in the microwave for 35 seconds (high) and when done, add a handful of baby spinach (or how much spinach you feel like having), top it with tuna (I use the entire can but again, feel free to add as you wish) and add the Caesar dressing (I use about 2tbsp. — if you put too much, your wrap just ends up being mushy).
Fold your tortilla (bottom first, then sides) and enjoy. Oh, I like to pair mine with a minty cuppa**
Feel free to comment with your recipe modification(s)!
*It might sound like a bad combination but the Caesar dressing actually plays nicely with the spinach and tuna. **Hot Twinings Mint Green Tea with 2 tsp. of sugar

Weekend (food) Recap!
Okie, so I mentioned before that I don’t normally do recaps of what I ate, but felt compelled to do so since I fell of the healthy eating bandwagon once again. It wasn’t as bad as last weekend, though but still! Ugh.
Friday
Had sashimi for lunch and though I should’ve stopped there, I quelled my deep-fried-food craving with an order of sweet shrimp (Amaebi) which, of course, is served with two battered and deep-fried shrimp heads. Ahhh oh so good. Supper was fairly healthy with my custom-tuna spinach wrap! I’ll try to write the recipe sometime. It’s SUPER easy to do and very much fulfilling.
Saturday
Location: Mammoth! The place we stayed at had free (continental) brekkers but since we woke up late, we were only able to grab some plain bagels (I had a toasted one with cream cheese.) Lunch ended up sharing a LARGE serving of chilli-cheese fries with sis, and half a Nathans hotdog (sans the bun). Oh-so-bad-but-so-good!
I have to add that we didn’t finish this entire basket (had about a quarter of it, though!) and packed up the rest for snacking later.
So as if that weren’t too much, we went straight to Roberto’s for our après-boarding margarita (had two, eek!) and a hefty serving of Carne Asada (again, I wasn’t able to finish my food so we brought it back to the room.)
I would later regret (about 5 hours later! LOL) having two margaritas when the delicious one above (a Pomarita: pomegranate, Patron, triple sec) was more than enough!
Sunday
Having expunged the night before what I ate the night before (soz TMI! lol), I woke up super hungry and had the rest of my carne asada and chilli-cheese fries for brekkers. I should add (as if it helps) that I only had like, half of the remaining serving — which is still a LOT but only a quarter of the portion of the total basket. After another session of snowboarding, and on our way home, we stopped by our fav Chinese restaurant in Bishop where we enjoyed some spicy salt & pepper ribs, fried rice and two bowls of egg drop soup. Ahhhh. I didn’t even bother ordering any veggies! >_<
So there, when we finally got home, I just felt like having some Honey Nut Cheerios for supper before passing out. I’ll have the remaining ribs left-over from yesterday for lunch and then am getting back on the healthy food bandwagon tonight: grilled chicken breast over brown rice with a side of blanched asparagus.
