I’ve been meaning to do planks and burpees every morning. After nearly a month of procrastinating, I finally got in a 30sec plank and 30 burpees. Well it's true.Once we hit the age of 40, we begin to lose 8% of our muscle mass every decade. We are designed to move. But don't be too attached to how it needs to look. Any movement (walking, biking, hiking, stretching, weight lifting, body weight training, yoga, boxing, Pilates) is better than no movement. Meet yourself where you're at and give yourself the loving push you need to progress. A body in motion will tend to stay in motion.
