Notes:
/me pats herself on her back. I actually stuck to my training schedule today and ran the prescribed 7 miles. It was an easy pace of 13:24 minutes/mile and I actually got to run the first 20 minutes straight without stopping or walking! Then, I upped the pace a bit for another 5 minutes before walking. lol. I think I'm returning to my previous running fitness and I hope on Saturday, I'll be able to run more rather than walk — although, I think I need to figure out a walking interval (Irene runs every 6 minutes and walks for 1 minute; My sis runs for 8 minutes and walks for 1 minute)… Perhaps I can start walking after 30 minutes of running and do a 6-1 interval. Or maybe 7-1… hmmmm… Anyway, I burned about 640 calories this morning (minus the 3 ClifShot BLOKs I ate). The run itself was not bad — the weather was cloudy and cool which I think is perfect. Tomorrow, I'm going to see if I can run 3 miles during my lunch break. Then a well deserved rest on Friday before the 15-miler on the weekend!
