The day was good (or bad if I'm expecting hot weather in Camp Pendleton in April); anyway, it was a bit overcast and the ocean breeze sometimes got under your skin but overall, it was the perfect running condition for me. I ran with Irene today and was able to keep up with her (or rather, she slowed down for me! lol) as our average pace was around 11:00/mi-12:30/mi. We ran the 6:1 interval and actually stuck to it but for two stops cos I was having stomach cramps and the other was to refill my water bottle whilst Irene chatted with someone on the strand.

I'm not sure if it's psychosomatic but I started feeling pain in my plantar fascia. Again, I'm wondering if that started acting up because I had just been reading an article about how flat footed people commonly have this symptom. LOL. It's kinda hurting now as I type this but only because I'm thinking of it! ROFL. Weird, huh? Nothing to get worked up about, though.

Speaking of worked up, I'm going to workout in a bit and do some sort of resistance training — lol probably one set just for upper body resistance.

Again, overall, a great run considering the circumstances of not training mid-week. Mad props to Irene for running with me the entire 11-something miles! We were going to do 12, but I was like, this is enough! LOL. Also, I'm beginning to find it better to run with someone cos you both push each other… Any other running buddies out there? 🙂

As usual, stats below:

Garmin; Nike+:

p.s.,
I ran 15 miles last week (Valentine's Day) however, due to really freak technology errors, my distance, and heartrate weren't recorded!
