I get it; I'm cursed. Why? Well, let me take you back 20 years, when I was a wee lass. In the warm summer months (in my tropical island), I would get pus-filled wounds. Yes, puss-filled wounds. Sounds gross, looks gross and it was a pain in the butt. As far as I can recall, I got that 2 summers in a row.<\/p>\n
\nThen, I recall not being able to enjoy shrimp. No shrimp scampi for me, no shrimp fried rice, no fried shrimp, no boiled shrimp, no salt and pepper shrimp. And at a very young age, I actually liked the taste of shrimp, but I couldn't eat it due to allergies.<\/p>\n
\nFast forward a few years, now living in the desert. During the summer, I'd get itchy rashes on my legs and arms. Our doctor was unable to determine why I got these. They just seem to come when it's really warm (again) and dry.<\/p>\n
\nToday, I'm suffering from sinusitis. I'm guessing it's not acute sinusitis as even when I'm not ill, I get some of the symptoms albeit not as “strong” but it lingers and you know any minute it can flare up. It seems to get worse as I get ill, or get a cold (obviously). The medicine(s) I'm taking (took) seem to just provide temporarily relief. I'm actually taking naps now. I haven't been able to take a nap during the day since kindergarten. I just can't sleep when there's light out, and now, to ease the pain of my sinus attacks, sleep is the only way to succumb to it. I hope all this resting actually works. I actually slept to “Soul Train” on the telly! LMAO. At least I can laugh about myself.<\/p>\n
\nSo there you have it, I am cursed. Oh, did I mention I get hives when I drink vodka? >.<\n\n
