\nOverall, the weekend was excellent. No — it was BRILLIANT! We started it off with a leisurely drive, almost going to San Francisco (we got lost), back-tracked and finally arrived at the mountain… 8 hours later! It's ok, though, I got to take some photos on our “detour” and we all saw a full rainbow.<\/p>\n

Thanks to Iron Chef, Buzz, for the delicious meals! They were high in fat and high-cholesterol but they were delicious! Hey, it's only once in a while that we eat this good<\/i> anyway!<\/p>\n

\nAs usual, our trip was without incident, so here's an abridged version of our “fun”:<\/p>\n

\n– Joel wipes out and ends up in a weird, pretzel position. We still have no clue how he was able to twist his body into a fall like that. Luckily, he's recovered and has no serious injuries, but man… I wish I took a photo of him on the snow before Herman and Minel came to his aid \ud83d\ude09
\n– Annelle got lost during lunch time and then we ended up with 3 big plates of Chili Cheese Fries for lunch. YUM!
\n– After lunch, I sent everyone up Chair 12. It was a lift ride nobody will ever forget. I think this beats Joel's “Mountain Xpress” lift ride back at Snow Summit
\n– We all had fun screaming our heads off at the top of Chair 12
\n– Everyone had fun snowboarding in knee deep powder. Did I say snowboarding? How about, sinking in deep fresh powder and getting stuck? Yah, that was it.:)<\/p>\n
