This is the second time this year that I'm sick. That's one more instance than ever recorded of my illness (I normally get sick “once” a year). I don't know what it is (could it be tied to the weather?), but the same person got me sick again — my sis Annelle. Ugh. Getting sick is not even an option for me especially with this week coming up (Holy week), however, I have to deal with it else be unable to do my duties (work, church, etc.)<\/p>\n
\nIn other news, I got my new running gear today at the Nike staff training meeting at Niketown in Beverly Hills, CA. Our series this season is actually very kewl; this year, we're helping underprivileged children get healthy through running (they don't have any sports programs in their school!) Nike's been very generous thus far — our Club Run LA program helped sell the “Nike Go” green laces and we raised $5,000 last series! This series, we need to help more kids, so our goal is $20,000! Eek! That's a LOT of laces to sell, but it all goes towards helping the kids of Nike Go<\/a>. We're also having 10 running locations this series! That's twice as many locations compared to our previous series (ever). It'll be crazy, but great.
