{"id":3502,"date":"2012-05-01T09:27:09","date_gmt":"2012-05-01T16:27:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.radragon.com\/journal\/?p=3502"},"modified":"2012-05-01T09:27:09","modified_gmt":"2012-05-01T16:27:09","slug":"resolutions-in-may","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.radragon.com\/journal\/2012\/05\/01\/resolutions-in-may\/","title":{"rendered":"Resolutions in May"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s not really a half-year review but more of a refresher on my resolutions, which I conveniently did not publish for fear of being accountable by the (two) people that read my journal. \ud83d\ude09 Anyway, as the title suggests, I&#8217;m making some baby steps as far as my Nutrition!<\/p>\n<p>My little (or I should just start saying younger, cos the dude is like taller and more muscular now) brudder was the one who actually wanted to eat healthier in May and I was a bit hesitant at first. However, reality checked in at my Active Fitness class last night and as soon as I got home, I told younger bro that I was in!<\/p>\n<p>So, throughout the month of May, I want to accomplish the following:<\/p>\n<p>1) 100g of Protein a day (20g brekkers, 10g snack one, 30g lunch, 20g snack two, 20g supper &#8212; or thereabouts!)<br \/>\n2) Eat more complex carbs and fibre (i.e., VEGGIES) This is my Achilles&#8217; heel. I hardly eat veggies \ud83d\ude41<br \/>\n3) Reduce sugar intake (i.e., sweets)<br \/>\n4) 1 glass of red wine a day \ud83d\ude42<br \/>\n5) 30 minutes of movement a day<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m keeping it at just 5 items which I will tick each day and hope in thirty-one days, this will be second nature!
