We arrived around 1AM this morning and we were all exhausted. Mammoth was excellent — waaaay much better than when we went during Thanksgiving weekend. We had one and a half great days of snowboarding: the snow was kewl (e.g., powdery thanks to recent rains) and the weather was so California; it was actually warm enough for people to snowboard\/ski without a jacket (e.g., shirt and pants!)<\/p>\n
\nOh yah, I got my very first speeding ticket… Ever! >_< What a way to start the new year, eh? I was also doing great snowboarding until the second day, when I decided to do some \"tricks\" -- looking back, I probably shouldn't have as I suffered two painful wipeouts: one was a bad landing when trying to catch some air... the second was falling off a rail... Thank goodness for helmets, though. Someone needs to teach me the basics with jumping and stuff. Until then, I'm laying off the terrain park *sad* Anyway, my body aches from falling. Ouchies.\n\n
