I actually watched the opening ceremonies and it was ok &#8212; actually, it was not too bad considering all the &#8220;house&#8221; music they played (unless you count that retro disco and 80&#039;s music ensemble when the nations were parading&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>\nAnyway, I&#039;m just wondering about these weird medals:<\/p>\n<p>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.olympic.org\/uk\/games\/torino\/open_medals_uk.asp\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.radragon.com\/images\/torinomedals.jpg\" style=\"border: 1px solid #000000\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\nI guess they&#039;re kewl and all but at first sight, they look quite odd. At first I thought they were compact discs (or DVDs)&#8230; Those silly Italians were prolly running late getting the medals done so had to make due with some punk CDs or summat! Wouldn&#039;t that be cool, though?
