I missed my 9 mile run on Saturday (I went snowboarding instead), missed my 3 mile run on Tuesday, the 5-miler on Wednesday and the 3-miler today (Thursday). This weekend, I&#039;m supposed to run 10 miles and Iono if I&#039;ll survive &#8212; I&#039;ll do it, but I&#039;ll prolly die or summat >_<\n\n<p>\nAnyway, I need to keep myself motivated. I do not want a repeat of my performance (or lack thereof) @ Chicago. I mean, I finished and all, and that should be an accomplishment of it&#039;s own, but it&#039;s tough being a &#8220;runner&#8221; especially if yer older sis is a &#8220;veteran&#8221; runner (14+ marathons and counting&#8230; eep!)<\/p>\n<p>\nI think the photo below will motivate me; remind me of the 26.2 grueling miles and the 6+ hours on my feet. I want to shave a whole hour off that time, too&#8230; I&#039;ve got a LOT of work ahead of me >_<\n\n<p>\n<img src=\"http:\/\/www.radragon.com\/images\/chicagoBook.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>\nIt&#039;s blurred out, but if you check the name above me, it&#039;s a 65-year-old Kiwi who finished around the same time I did.
