Oh, my sis and I have cancelled the scheduled “Oktoberfest” visit to Alpine Village, as well. I don’t think we’ll be well enough after the half-marathon to start drinking copious amounts of beer, especially since we are both coming off a cold. Still, I want my steak\/red meat afterwards and can’t decide if I want to go to Sansui Te<\/a>\u00a0or some other place that has meat! ^_^<\/p>\n Back to the half-marathon — I went to the Expo yesterday with my friend Leesa and I was surprised to see that they had more good stuff than Surf City’s Expo earlier this year (and by good stuff, I mean freebies). I’m actually going back with my sistahs today (they’ll pick up their bib\/gear) to see if there are any other freebies I’ve missed.
