Grateful & honoured to represent. I’m back for another year and am excited for our upcoming events! Hit me up if you want to trail run or race!. . . #Repost @desertdashtrailraces with @get_repost・・・Our first ambassador announcement today is everybody's favorite running unicorn and a member of our new "Core Team" of ambassadors. She's back for her third year as an Official Trail Junkie and can often be seen atop Black Mountain or volunteering at aid stations, full of smiles (and taking selfies)! "I wasn't quite an outdoorsy person, although, I regarded the beach as my version of the outdoors! I certainly didn't see myself running on trails until I paced and crewed for my sister at her ultra trail races. Trail running was frustrating at first because you had to pay attention to where your foot fell and you couldn't quite go the same pace as you'd do on roads, but when I let go of the initial expectations of maintaining my road pace, I began to enjoy — nay, love the trails! And sometimes, it loved me back with trail kisses. Hehehe. This is what I hope to continue to share as a Trail Junkie; not necessarily the trail kisses, but sharing the enjoyment and experience of trail running regardless of speed or distance. Because you can never get tired of seeing the landscape at Red Rock, or the limestone outcrops at Cliff Shadows or seeing Lake Mead after you've conquered the switchbacks at Bootleg Canyon." – @radragon #desertdash #officialtrailjunkie #trailjunkie #getsometrail [instagram]
