On Sunday, I spent nearly the entire morning cheering on (with some football/soccer friends, the OC Hooligans) my favourite football club in the world: Chelsea FC. It was the final match of the 2009/2010 English Premier League season and with only a point ahead of the reigning champions, Man Utd, Chelsea were able to inch away from (or more like routed) Wigan! The final score, 8-nil. The table standing, Chelsea were able to clinch the title, 86 points versus ManU’s 85! Talk about a title decider!!
I actually only had a pint that morning, but the elation from experiencing my Club get the title back had a positive dizzying effect, nonetheless. ^_^
