Have loads to tell and photos to post but am super exhausted! We got back around 4PM, rested a bit, went to mass, had supper and I've just been chillin' in front of the computer until finishing the programme on Discovery Channel called "The Human Body: Pushing the Limits"…. Anyway, time for bed and I'll write more tomorroz.

Talk footy, morning footy and La Jolla
I forget to announce to the world via my giornale… I'm going to guest co-host a footy (soccer) talk show for the next 3 weeks every Thursday! The lady who is normally the co-host will go on holiday and the other host graciously invited me. Thanks again, Diana! Anyway, please tune in every Thursday at 1200 Pacific (2000 GMT) to The Treble — hit that link and you'll be transported to the Champions Soccer Radio Network website; at the top of the page are "Ways to Listen" links. I don't have the local AM stations list anymore cos it apparently was outdated and people were telling me someone else was on-air last Thursday. Oh yah, I had sort-of a live dry run on Thursday with Jenny and Diana (the two hosts) just to get my feet wet. It's now on-demand so you can go to that CSRN website and either download the podcast or mp3 or listen via the instant flash player. So yah… shameless plug for me there.
In other news, I'm spending the entire weekend here at my sis' home in sunny La Jolla, California. I woke up at 6:40AM today to catch my Blues play (we won! West Ham 0 – Chelsea 4!!!!!!) and afterwards, was motivated to run (see report below). When my other sis wakes up, we're going to go kayaking! We were going surfing but sis #1 has the cramps… >_< It's cool cos we're returning here next weekend and will take the 2-day surfing clinic! WHEEEEEE! So yah; I'll be surfing the web for a while until I can go out and surf the waves.
So excited.
Training Run: 3 miles
Calories Burned (approx): 311
Notes:
My first training run of the year! I should be familiar by now that I am out of shape but I was in disbelief when I was panting by the end of the first kilometre! >_< I used my iPod with Nike+ today; the one I got last Christmas from my big sis! LOL. It works great! I just used the basic feature for now and just when I was about to give up, the guy "speaking" to me via the iPod told me to keep going cos there was only x amount of kilometres to go.
I should have actually ran 10 miles today. Eep. That's how far behind I am with my training. I'll try to run during the week now that I have rid of my illness. I'm hoping to be back on track by next weekend, otherwise, I'm seriously going to have a difficult time at the SD Marathon in June. >_<
