2007 NaNoWriMo Winner

Friday, 30 November 2007 | 09:23 pm

My very own novel-writing epilogue.

It is about 12:15AM (at least when I started typing this) on the 1st of December. Happy December!

For an entire month of November, if you have not seen my previous journal entries, I have been writing (here and there) to reach the goal of 50,000 words by 11:59:59 on the 30th of November.

Well, I made it! Though, my story is far from over and it's definitely unpolished, I still made it.

This was my second novel (second success out of three tries) and like my first novel, the manuscript will probably end up somewhere around my room; the pages littered about.

Anyway, I'm going to figure out how I can make some time to edit both novels so I can have them printed for friends and family.

In the meantime, check out my shiny winner's badge below and if you're curious on my daily word count, click this for my NaNoWriMo profile (check the NaNo Stats tab).

Nearing the end of November!

Monday, 26 November 2007 | 09:42 am

Can you believe we're down to the last five days of November? It seems like yesterday that it finally got nice and cold in Los Angeles, then it got warm, then cold, then summer warm and… well, you get the picture.

Anyway, I am thirty-three thousand one hundred and forty-six words (and counting) into my silly novel. I think, by the time I reach the goal of 50,000 words, my story would not be resolved! Unless I skip a number of details and close up the story in the next 17,000 or so words. One thing is certain: I will finish it this year. =)

Oooh, speaking of the end of November, 'm going with sis and some great friends to our fav snowboarding mountain… Mammoth! I have to find some time this week to get the boards tuned and waxed.

'til the next update…

Happy Thanksgiving!

We skipped the turkey this year and went for the less-traditional aged ribeye, red potatoes with dijonaise and chives, corn, and finally my sister's delicious Tiramisu.
