It's done. The bloody thing is finished. I do not really need to go into further detail about it other than when I have the time, I will probably begin editing it and will try to add illustrations to my story. But it's over. National Novel Writing Month 2005 is over. Sweet.

Oh yah, you can totally check out an excerpt of my novel here. My novel…has a nice ring to it. ^_^

So-so Snow.

Monday, 28 November 2005 | 03:33 pm

Just got back from our Mammoth trip. It was not too bad. Had fun company and good times. Of course, we all had our issues: Sharon with the stomach flu, Herman and his bloody bindings, Joel and his bloody finger (literal), little Nathan and his first ski lesson, Buzz and his mum's first touchdown on the icy snow, my sis Minel and her un-leet skillz and sis Annelle with her out-of-shape woes… LOL. That and it did not snow all weekend (actually, it snowed a bit this morning — when we were setting off for HOME!) but we were able to get a bunch of runs at higher altitudes. Broadway Express, Stump Alley Express, Thunderbound Express were the lifts that we went on and mostly went down the mountain via Stump Alley and St. Moritz. Then, for shits and giggles, my sis and I went on the Discovery chair yesterday :-P (j/k — I was actually instructing her how to turn… toe side! LOL)

Oh yah, I have like 2 days left 'til the end of the month… The end of NaNoWriMo… The END of my novel that ATM, stands at 33K words. EEK! Time to pull an all-nighter. >_<

p.s.,
Pics to follow!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thursday, 24 November 2005 | 09:27 am

I'm thankful for family.
I'm thankful for friends.
I'm thankful for the house I live in.
I'm thankful for fountain pens.
I'm thankful for freedom and will continue to pray for peace.
I'm not thankful for eating through the holidays as I will probably end up obese. :-P

p.s., Just kidding. I couldn't find another word that rhymes with “peace”. Also, I'm not trying to make fun of fat people. My grandma (RIP) was fat. Although, it was not by choice. She had diabetes and the medications she took caused her to be fat. Betcha didn't know that, huh? Luv ya mama!
