Biting the bullet

Sunday, 21 August 2005 | 06:06 am

Well, my computer, which has been down since I don't know when is now back up… Running Windows XP Pro. *gulp*

Yes, I heeded to my father's suggestion and went ahead with WinXP. Of course, immediately after reinstalling it, I made sure that it didn't look all candy-like and used the classic views for the menus and such.

It's great to have my computer back online, though. Now my bro and I can play Counter-Strike: Source together, without having to kick one off the other computer.

Oh yah, I can also get some work done! LOL.

New section!

Yup, a category dedicated to Football (or Soccer, as it is called in the New World). I'm hoping to add the rest of my posts in the past that purely had a football theme. That's, of course, when I get the time to do that kind of reorganization.

Oh yah. Are you a English Premier League fan? If so, I have a fantasy league that you might want to participate in. Best of all… It's freeeeee! Contact me for more info. That's, radragon AT gmail DOT com. And don't worry, the league isn't just for Chelsea FC (…the greatest team, the world has ever seen) fans. :)

Matthew Perry

Tuesday, 09 August 2005 | 01:01 pm

My li'l bro and I went to watch the JP Morgan Chase Open over @ the Home Depot Center, this morning. Actually, it was more like, morning 'til afternoon. It was sooooo freakin' hot! I forget to bring my hat with me, and happened to wear a dark coloured shirt (charcoal) so… I was sweating bullets! We ended up buying 2 hats so that we don't get cooked too much under the scorching sun… >.< The matches were ok; naturally, there were no big-namers yet, since it was just one of the few starting matches. My bro wanted to watch Maria Sharapova, but hers is a 7PM match tonight, and that's a separate ticket... Anyway, I didn't feel like watching the next match (with Conchita Martinez -- I didn't realize she still plays!) and luckily, my bro was tired as well. At least he'll get to watch another match on Saturday with my other sis -- it's the Semis, so that should be more fun.

Oh, yah. We saw Matthew Perry watching. He's still a bit fat. Jennifer Capriati wasn't there.
