Food.

Wednesday, 15 June 2005 | 09:33 am

The sweetest thing about running regulary, is that I feel that I can eat anything and then burn it off a day or two later. Of course, I won't pig-out every single day, but 'party-weekends' like this past one (where there was a LOT of food served and a LOT of food consumed) did not make me feel guilty about it at all.

One thing I need to remind myself: after each run, I should have my gatorade, water and snack ready. I read somewhere that you need to replenish your body's supplies (e.g., carbs, potassium, etc.) within 30 minutes after running. Lately, I've only been drinking water apr

Training: 3 miles

Tuesday, 14 June 2005 | 06:27 pm

Distance: 3.00 miles (4.82 Kilometres)
Time: 0:30:33
Date: June 14th, 2005

Notes:
The run went well. In terms of physical exertion and overall feeling, I felt good during and after my run. I got free parking, too — well, I put 10 cents in the meter 'cuz there was still time left! There was one nagging thing, though, I felt like someone was watching me as I went down the strand. I know it's a bit paranoid and I should've been more confident with the safety of the area, but somehow, I felt uneasy and I didn't even want to slow down or anything. It's like running on alert and being totally aware of my surroundings (which I should be all the time) but tonight was a bit different. Maybe it had something to do with the poorly lit strand, or trhe lack of people on it. Anyway, I was soooo paranoid! I gotta run earlier in the day or summat. >.<
